What’s the movie about?
“The Irishman” tells the epic saga of organized crime in postwar America is told from the point of view of Frank Sheeran, a World War II veteran. He worked as a drug dealer and contract killer alongside the most notorious figures of the 20th century. Set over several decades, the film addresses one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in U.S. history: the disappearance of legendary labor leader Jimmy Hoffa. It also provides a monumental look into the hidden machinery of organized crime – from internal operations to rivalries to connections in wide political circles.
