What’s the movie about?
Getaway driver Baby (Ansel Elgort) has tinnitus, which is why he constantly listens to music through headphones. But despite his young age, this also makes him one of the best at his job: to the sounds of his personal playlist, he speeds away from every pursuer, a talent that gangster boss Doc (Kevin Spacey) knows how to exploit. Baby owes him a debt of gratitude, which is why he has to work for Doc as a getaway driver, driving Buddy (Jon Hamm), his girlfriend Darling (Eiza Gonzalez), the nasty Griff (Jon Bernthal) and the unpredictable Bats (Jamie Foxx) on their coups and then making sure they escape from the cops. In the process, Baby has fallen in love with waitress Debora (Lily James) and actually wants out. But before that, there is one last job to do…
