What’s the movie about?
Belle Reve is the prison with the highest death rate in the USA. The worst super-villains are behind bars here. If you want to escape the dangerous place, you can join the top-secret Task Force X – but surviving their missions is very, very unlikely. Bloodsport (Idris Elba), Peacemaker (John Cena), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Ratcatcher 2 (Daniela Melchior), Savant (Michael Rooker), King Shark (Steve Agee), Blackguard (Pete Davidson), Javelin (Flula Borg), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and a few others try their luck anyway. The Suicide Squad is dropped off on the remote, enemy-occupied island of Corto Maltese, in the middle of a jungle full of enemies and guerrilla fighters. Colonel Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) tries to keep the squad in line. However, there is only one question: do the villains kill each other or are they killed by the enemy?
