What’s the movie about?
The comedy “Yes Man” is about the bank employee Carl Allen (Jim Carrey), who falls into a depression after his divorce. Only with some effort his friend Willie (John Michael Higgins) can convince him to take part in a self-help seminar. There the guru Terrence Bundley (Terence Stamp) talks about his yes-man method. Carl accepts the advice and basically says “yes” to everyone. A short time later Carl is without petrol, without telephone and without money. He meets the fun-loving Allison (Zooey Deschanel) on a park. She offers him a ride on her scooter. The tide still seems to be turning…
