What’s the movie about?
Sporty, nimble, spirited, incredibly clever and always committed to the motto “can’t be done, doesn’t exist” – that’s 16-year-old Vaiana, daughter of Motunui chief Tui. Since birth, Vaiana has had a very special connection to the ocean, which is why it bothers her quite a bit that her fellow tribesmen never dare venture out beyond the nearby reef that surrounds the island in their boats.
