What’s the movie about?
Four-year-old Amanda disappears without a trace. After three days without news, her uncle and her aunt hire the private detectives Patrick and Angela, who live together as partners. The two discover that Amanda’s irresponsible and drug-addicted mother has anything but a clean slate. This brings the detectives and two hard-boiled Boston cops on the trail of a notorious drug gang. An exchange of the child for money embezzled by Amanda is organized – and fails catastrophically.
