What’s the movie about?
The comedy “The Five-Year Engagement” is about Tom (Jason Segel) and Violet (Emily Blunt), who are newly engaged. When Violet gets a two-year job offer she moves to another town. The two years become four and finally five years. Her engagement gets longer and longer and the expectations of her families get bigger and bigger. Tom and Violet go through the ups and downs of a relationship. In the end they come to the realization that the journey to promising happiness is often different than planned.
