What’s the movie about?
The musical drama “Greatest Showman” is about P.T. Barnum (Hugh Jackman), who loses his job. To take care of his family, he wants to realize a curious idea. He founds a curiosity cabinet and hires a small man and a woman with a beard. In order to offer his paying customers even more spectacle, he expands his ensemble with acrobats like the trapeze artist Anne Wheeler (Zendaya). But above all Barnum wants to be taken seriously by the fine society. For this reason he works together with the serious theatre maker Phillip Carlyle (Zac Efron).
