What’s the movie about?
Vivo is a kinkaju, also called a rainforest honey bear, and leads a happy life in Cuba: together with his beloved owner Andrés, he makes music every day in a busy Havana square for the passing crowds. Although Vivo and Andrés don’t speak the same language, they harmonize perfectly. But then one day Andrés receives a letter from the famous singer Marta Sandoval inviting him to a farewell concert in Miami, but he is no longer able to deliver himself the message he wanted to give his old partner all his life: a love letter in the form of a song composed for Marta. So, without further ado, Vivo sets off for Miami himself, relying on the help of the young, spirited Gabi…
