What’s the movie about?
In 2005, David (Miles Teller) lives in Miami, and at just his early 20s, he has already endured several crash landings as an entrepreneur. Now he works as a masseur, which won’t make ends meet for him and his future family, because his girlfriend Iz (Ana de Armas) is pregnant. But then David’s old school friend Efraim (Jonah Hill) comes on the scene, who sells weapons on the net with his company. And in the process, quite an interesting piece of information has come to his attention: The U.S. government has begun to advertise arms contracts for wars on the Internet, which makes it possible for smaller suppliers to participate in the lucrative business. Efraim wants to get David on board, but he initially feels remorse – after all, he was always against the war. But the prospect of success and quick wealth changes his mind…
