What’s the movie about?
Comics, superheroes and “Star Trek” – these are the great passions of the two nerds Graeme Willy (Simon Pegg) and Clive Collings (Nick Frost). It’s no wonder that their trip to the San Diego Comic-Con in a camper van is the ultimate experience for the two sci-fi fans – and a subsequent trip to Area 51 is also a must.

But then an incident happens that throws the pilgrimage into disarray: When a black-tinted sedan starts to lurch in front of the two and overturns off the road, the helpful duo climbs out of their motor home – and meets an alien with a decorative cigarette stick in the corner of his mouth. The alien journeyman calls himself Paul and “commandeers” the friends’ motor home. It quickly becomes clear that Paul is on the run…
