What’s the movie about?
Bull Ferdinand is a jovial guy and has no desire to get into the arena against stupid matadors. He’d much rather spend time with his lively goat friend Elvira (Kate McKinnon) and his young human friend Nina, who is always accompanied by her dog Paco (Jerrod Carmichael). Or Ferdinand sniffs flowers and leisurely strolls across his pasture. So the bull leads a happy life on a farm somewhere in Spain. But then the gentle Ferdinand is stung by a bee, which upsets him for a moment and makes everyone think he is a dangerous animal. Without further ado, he is shipped off to Madrid, where he is to take part in a bullfight. How does he get out of this act? Well, with his friends, for example!
