What’s the movie about?
Young mother Amy Mitchell (Mila Kunis) is trying to balance her career and family. This is difficult and becomes even more difficult when she finds out that her husband Mike (David Walton), already no great help in caring for the naughty children, is also cheating on her. Amy is furious and the good wife turns into a “bad mom”. She kicks her husband out and, together with two other mothers, the frivolous Carla (Kathryn Hahn) and the well-behaved Kiki (Kristen Bell), gets a taste of what freedom really means: the trio stops being nice and perfect and from now on prefers to focus on pleasure – and quite impudently at that. Model mom Gwendolyn James (Christina Applegate) finds the permissive fun trip completely out of line and tries to intervene with intrigue. Amy, however, sees this only as a further kick…
