What’s the movie about?
In the drama “Gold”, set in Reno, Nevada in 1988, Kenny Wells lives there and almost completely ruins the family business “Washoe Mining Corporation”. His last hope is to drill and find gold in the jungle on the island of Borneo. He sells his girlfriend Kaylene’s jewellery and flies to Jakarta to the geologist Mike Acosta, who is supposed to help him with his venture. After a long series of failures, Kenny and Mike actually come across gold…
