What’s the movie about?
For the headstrong and mindful Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy) and her two friends Claire (Haley Lu Richardson) and Marcia (Jessica Sula) life becomes hell when they are kidnapped one day by a sinister man. Their tormentor Kevin (James McAvoy) turns out to be a very special man only a little later: he suffers from a multiple personality disorder and combines 23 different beings in his psyche, all of which alternate with each other and thus cause confusion and horror. While the girls are desperately looking for a way to escape, they have no idea that something particularly evil is stirring inside Kevin – namely a demonic 24th personality, who only calls himself “the beast” and who is about to break out of Kevin. Time is running out for the girls…
